Maribor celebrated the 13th edition of the public reading project Poetry Connects, marking International Poetry Day, the birthday of poet Janko Glazer, and the arrival of spring. Residents of various professions read selected poems from both Slovenian and global poetry collections at Slomškov trg, accompanied by live music from Pijani čoln. The event, initiated by reading ambassador Zora A. Jurič, fosters community engagement through literature and is symbolized by a blooming magnolia.
