
The Koninklijke Militaire School hosted the 5th National session of the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale, addressing cyber threats and digital security challenges. The event brought together experts including General-Major Pierre Ciparisse (Cyber Command), Mohamed Tabit (ENISA), and Filip Grzegorzewski (European External Action Service), alongside KMS Commander General-Major An-Roos De Potter.Topics included the role of artificial intelligence in disinformation, digital espionage, and safeguarding strategic sectors such as aerospace. Jean-Luc Trullemans from the European Space Security and Education Centre at ESA highlighted space defense and cybersecurity issues. The session emphasized international cooperation, teamwork, and the importance of mastering the cyber domain, with initiatives such as the EU Cyber Rapid Response Team underscoring joint European efforts.
