The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts is welcoming new and returning students for the start of the 2025 semester. New bachelor and master students will receive introductory program details via email, while current students will get information from their departments. A highlight of the academic year, the annual “School Opening” event, will take place on the first weekday of October in the academy’s grand hall, featuring speeches, presentations, entertainment, and a light lunch. This year saw 532 applicants to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, with 23 admitted, and 206 external applicants to the Master of Fine Arts program, with 10 admitted.
