A new cross-border partnership has been established to strengthen applied artificial intelligence, accelerate digital innovation, and support skills development for industry and SMEs. The agreement will enable joint research projects, collaborative infrastructure initiatives, and promote ethical AI adoption across Ireland and Northern Ireland. A joint project board will oversee the collaboration, with a focus on delivering economic and societal benefits, enhancing workforce capabilities, and fostering innovation through research and industry engagement.
