
The project “School of Renovation for New Generations”, implemented by the University of Primorska Faculty of Humanities (UP FHŠ) as a partner, received an honorable mention at the ED.VITA 2026 awards in the category Teaching and Curriculum. The awards, organized by the National Agency for Quality in Higher Education (NAKVIS) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, highlight best practices in sustainability in higher education.The project developed teacher handbooks for primary schools to integrate cultural heritage into education, linking universities, schools, professional institutions, and students. It emphasizes sustainability, practical learning, and critical engagement with local environments.Project leaders and authors of the handbooks:Assoc.
