
University of Graz has launched an interactive online apprentice game to help school students explore apprenticeship opportunities at the university. The game allows players to step into the role of an apprentice and experience tasks from different training professions in a fun, story-based scenario.The university offers apprenticeships in eight career fields, including metal technology, IT systems engineering, laboratory technology, electronics, administration, and horticulture. Through the game, students can learn about these professions while solving challenges in a fictional campus scenario where apprentices must save the university after a laboratory accident.The initiative aims to attract young people to vocational training at the university and encourage them to apply for available apprenticeship positions across various departments.
