
Mary Immaculate College (MIC) is organizing a series of free public events this spring, offering lectures, music performances, workshops, and academic discussions for students and the wider community. The Faculty of Arts Public Lecture Series will feature talks by leading academics, including Dr Michael Murphy and Dr Angela Cloke-Hayes.The programme also includes lunchtime music recitals, Ghanaian drum and dance workshops, philosophy discussions through the new Agora society, and psychology research seminars. A community lecture on the history of Sarsfield Street in Limerick will also be held in March, highlighting the college’s efforts to engage with the public through education and cultural activities.
