Munster Technological University (MTU) recently welcomed back graduates from its Crawford College of Art and Design for a special 25-year reunion, marked by the 2001° exhibition in Cork City.Held at the MTU Gallery on Grand Parade, the exhibition showcased a wide range of artistic works including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and multimedia. The collection reflected the evolution of the artists’ creative journeys since graduating, while also highlighting shared memories and the lasting influence of their time at Crawford.The event featured speeches and reflections from alumni, including artist Tony O’Connor, who shared personal and heartfelt stories from their college days. Fellow artist Suzanne O’Sullivan also provided insights into selected artworks, adding depth to the exhibition experience.The reunion celebrated not only artistic growth but also the enduring connections among graduates, with MTU’s Alumni Office supporting the milestone event. The exhibition ran for two weeks following its opening in February 2026.
