
A new National Science Advice Forum has been established to provide scientific guidance to support government decision-making. The Forum, composed of 12 members with expertise across natural sciences, engineering, medicine, social sciences, and humanities, will serve for a three-year term.The initiative aims to strengthen how interdisciplinary research informs policy, particularly on national priorities such as climate change resilience, decarbonisation, and natural hazard management. The Forum will work closely with the Chief Science Advisor to connect scientific knowledge with societal impact.
