Nova Univerza is participating in the inaugural UNI-SI Festival of Slovenian Universities, scheduled for 16–17 January 2026 at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event, organised in cooperation with all members of the Rectors’ Conference of the Republic of Slovenia (RKRS), will showcase the programmes of Slovenian universities to secondary school students, helping them choose from over 400 study programmes across seven academic fields.
The festival’s concept was developed jointly by staff and student councils from all participating universities, aiming to make higher education opportunities more accessible and relatable to young people. Study areas are categorised into social sciences, natural sciences, humanities, technology and engineering, medicine and health, biotechnology, and the arts, each marked with distinctive colours for clarity.
Participating institutions include the University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, University of Primorska, University of Nova Gorica, University of Novo Mesto, Nova Univerza, Alma Mater Europea, and EMUNI University. The University of Primorska, in collaboration with the University of Nova Gorica, is coordinating the first edition.
More information is available on the official festival website and social media channels.
