Óbuda University has entered a new phase of academic and technological collaboration by signing a research alliance agreement with University of Public Service. The partnership marks a significant step forward in joint research, development, and educational initiatives.The agreement aims to align the institutions’ research and innovation efforts while strengthening their combined technological expertise. Both universities plan to collaborate on organizing conferences, workshops, and professional training programs, enhancing knowledge exchange and academic cooperation.Key focus areas of the alliance include dual-use technologies, cybersecurity, communication systems, and research related to law enforcement and private security. The partnership will also explore advancements in artificial intelligence, autonomous aerial and ground vehicles, and the development of digital soldier technologies.Additionally, the collaboration extends to water management, infrastructure, and water diplomacy, reflecting a broad and interdisciplinary approach to research. Both institutions will work together to secure national and European Union research funding and implement joint innovation projects.While the agreement does not involve immediate financial commitments, it establishes a strong foundation for long-term cooperation, aiming to drive technological progress and expand research opportunities for students and academics alike.
