Miskolci Egyetem joined the nationwide celebration of the Hungarian Parasport Day with interactive programs and a panel discussion. The initiative is organized annually by the Magyar Paralimpiai Bizottság and FODISZ.Participants could try para fencing, wheelchair basketball, boccia, sitting volleyball, and other inclusive sports.Deaflympic 100m hurdles champion Nikolett Gál shared her inspiring journey, while other para-athletes also spoke about challenges and achievements.Rector Zita Horváth highlighted the university’s commitment to accessible sports, scholarships, and equal opportunities for students with disabilities.
