Professor Maja Godina Golija from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Maribor was awarded the Glazer Award by the Maribor Municipality for her outstanding contributions to culture. A recognized ethnologist and sociologist, she has advanced the understanding of urban culture, everyday life, and Maribor’s cultural heritage through numerous publications and research projects, making the city one of the most systematically studied Slovenian urban environments.
