The Retired University program has successfully launched a new semester at the University of Pannonia, continuing an initiative that offers monthly lectures for senior citizens.
Following the strong interest in the first semester, the program restarted just weeks after its conclusion, attracting more than 220 participants. The new semester opened at the Circular Economy University Center with a lecture focusing on positively experienced aging, highlighting psychological well-being and identity development in later life.
Due to increased demand, the program has expanded its audience and topics, reflecting the university’s commitment to lifelong learning and community engagement. The lecture series will continue in March with a presentation on climate change.
