
Several staff members of Széchenyi István University were awarded prestigious Hungarian state honors during the Hungary National Day celebrations, marking the anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848.Among the awardees, István Kukorelli received the Széchenyi Prize for his outstanding contributions to constitutional law and public law history. Other recognitions included the Order of Merit and various Gold, Silver, and Bronze Crosses, awarded to university leaders, academics, and professionals for excellence in education, research, and public service.The honors highlight the university’s strong role in advancing academic excellence, cultural development, and international cooperation.
