
Trinity College Dublin celebrated student engagement and inclusivity at the 35th annual Student Society Awards, recognizing achievements across more than 120 student-led societies.The event highlighted the vital role societies play in campus life, covering activities from volunteering and culture to arts and media. Among the top winners, TCD Women’s Health was named Best Society, while the DU Vincent de Paul Society received the award for Best Large Society.New categories introduced this year focused on strengthening community spirit and student belonging. The Community Spirit Award was presented to the DU Knitting Society, while DUDJ earned recognition for Best Community Building Event. These additions were supported by the Trinity Student Belonging Fund, aimed at promoting inclusive and collaborative initiatives on campus.Linda Doyle praised the diversity and creativity of student contributions, emphasizing the importance of extracurricular involvement in student development. The awards also saw record participation, with over 300 nominations submitted.The annual ceremony continues to showcase the energy and impact of student communities, reinforcing their central role in shaping a vibrant and inclusive university experience.
