
The University of Pannonia achieved outstanding success at the Balatonföldvár Fister Cup National Decathlon Fixed-Seater Rowing Championships, held in August 2025. Competing in multiple categories, the university’s teams secured top positions in the 1,000-meter distance races.
In the amateur masters category, the women’s team of the University of Pannonia claimed the national championship title with a time of 5:20:70. The men’s team also excelled, winning in both the masters and adult categories. The event, with more than 15 years of tradition, brought together rowing clubs from Budapest, Győr, Keszthely, and Veszprém.
The competition was organized by the Balatonföldvár Water Sports and Sailing Association, supported by the Hungarian Rowing Association. Congratulations were extended to all athletes and their coach, Balázs Szentessy, for their remarkable performances.
