The University of Warsaw has launched a call for ideas for its upcoming Cultural Hot Spot festival, set to take place on May 21. The event, held for the fifth time, celebrates the diverse international community at the university, where around 4,000 international students are currently studying.Organised by the Welcome Point team in collaboration with student organisations, the festival provides a platform for international students to showcase their cultures through music, language, traditions, and cuisine. The initiative aims to strengthen integration and cultural exchange within the academic community.Students, doctoral candidates, staff, and Foundation Year participants are invited to submit creative proposals for interactive cultural activities, including workshops, performances, and presentations. Submissions are open until April 23.Additionally, a workshop event on April 14 will help participants refine their ideas and better understand the festival format. The university encourages active participation to promote inclusivity and cross cultural understanding on campus.
