The university sports association achieved a historic result by earning qualification for the Mölkky European Championship for the first time. Competing at the Indoor Hungarian Cup and selection tournament in Zalaegerszeg, the team delivered an outstanding performance and finished in second place among 18 teams.
After advancing confidently from the group stage, the team reached the final with strong victories in the knockout rounds. Their silver-medal finish secured them the right to compete at the European Championship, which will be held in Prague from February 28 to March 1.
The result marks a major milestone in university sports for the University of Pannonia, highlighting the growing success of its competitive student teams at national and international levels.
