In March 2025, the University of Miskolc entered into a research and development agreement with MOL, focusing on technologies related to the recycling and processing of selective waste and the petrochemical processing of products derived from waste treatment. The professional collaboration also includes research into renewable energy, geothermal solutions, and carbon-free energy production.
