
The second annual conference of the International Association for Safe & Ethical AI (IASEAI’26) was successfully held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 24–25 February. The event brought together researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, and civil society actors from around the world to discuss the safe, responsible, and ethical development of artificial intelligence.Key topics included the safety and oversight of advanced AI systems, ethical and legal frameworks, human rights, global AI governance, and the role of education and research in shaping responsible innovation. The conference also provided a platform for sharing best practices and strengthening international research cooperation.IASEAI continues to position itself as a leading global forum for interdisciplinary dialogue on the future of artificial intelligence.
