Christian Brink Scholz has been appointed as the new head of the Department of Medicine and Health Technology at Aalborg University. With a background as a medical doctor and PhD, and international experience from Denmark, the USA, and Switzerland, he will strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration between doctors, engineers, and software developers. The department plays a central role in supporting society’s needs through education, research, and innovation, with a particular focus on digital health. Christian Brink Scholz will assume the position on May 1, 2026.
