
An interdisciplinary wellbeing research community at University of Jyväskylä has announced new internship opportunities for summer 2026. The program is seeking 6–8 students from different academic disciplines to join a multidisciplinary team working on projects related to citizen science and wellbeing research.The internships will focus on development and support tasks connected to citizen science initiatives. Selected students will gather and analyze information about wellbeing-related citizen science activities across different research fields, both within the university and internationally. The interns will also help promote awareness of citizen science opportunities among researchers and the public while supporting ongoing projects.As part of their work, the summer team will compile research findings and prepare a report to ensure that the collected knowledge remains accessible for future projects. The internship program aims to strengthen collaboration between different academic disciplines while advancing research that supports wellbeing throughout various stages of life.The internships will last three months and are mainly scheduled between May 18 and August 31, 2026. Applications must be submitted through an online form by March 18. The opportunity is open to students currently studying at the University of Jyväskylä, and basic proficiency in Finnish is required for applicants.
