A major collaborative project aimed at developing the future EPX education program has received significant financial support in Denmark’s Capital Region. Seven educational institutions have secured a total of 26 million Danish kroner from the European Social Fund and the regional government to launch the initiative “Sammen om EPX.” The project seeks to explore innovative teaching approaches and improve student well-being in preparation for the introduction of the EPX program in 2030.The initiative brings together institutions with experience in different educational pathways, including HF programs, vocational education, EUX, and 10th-grade schooling. Teachers and education experts will collaborate to design new teaching methods and examine how schools can create strong youth environments that support both academic learning and practical skills.Through joint workshops, partnerships, classroom experiments, and student participation activities, the project will collect insights about effective teaching strategies and student engagement. Students themselves will also play an important role through interviews, workshops, and testing new learning formats.By combining knowledge from multiple educational environments, the project aims to create a balanced model that integrates theory with practical learning. The initiative is expected to help shape the structure and learning approach of the EPX program and provide valuable experience before the first students enroll in 2030.
