
Three international research projects involving teams from Wrocław University of Science and Technology have received funding in the New European Bauhaus competition under the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme.The projects focus on sustainable architecture and urban development, including bio-based building materials, reuse of construction waste such as concrete, and recycling building components like wood and ceramics.Only 25 projects were selected from 367 proposals, and the university’s teams will receive nearly €1.5 million to support research aimed at creating more environmentally friendly and inclusive cities.
