
University of Dunaújváros recently hosted representatives from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI to discuss strengthening cooperation in nuclear engineering education.During the meeting, the institutions explored launching a joint training program in nuclear technology aligned with future industry demands, particularly those related to the Paks II Nuclear Power Plant project.The discussion also covered accreditation processes, student and faculty mobility, and joint research opportunities. Both universities agreed to develop training programs for nuclear power plant personnel, including joint courses, internships, and laboratory projects, highlighting the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
