The Governing Board of the University of Maribor held its 6th extraordinary session, approving the investment program for the “Upgrade of National Research Infrastructures 2 (RIUM 2)” project. This initiative, part of the INNOVUM platform, involves 13 university members and aims to enhance top-tier research equipment.The board also convened its 9th regular session to review infrastructure projects across the university, including new buildings for the faculties of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Energy, and Logistics. The projects aim to strengthen research and educational facilities, foster highly skilled graduates, support innovation, and drive regional development in Eastern Slovenia.The next board meeting is scheduled for 23 April 2026.
