Matz Berggren, senior researcher at the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Gothenburg, has completed the latest volume of the Nationalnyckeln, covering ten-legged crustaceans and krill. The 300-page work describes 96 species found in Sweden, including rare and invasive species, with detailed text and images. The guide draws on nearly 20 years of Berggren’s research and aims to support education, species identification, and biodiversity conservation efforts across schools, universities, and professional organizations.
