Mozarteum University Salzburg is presenting its award winning Co CreART Co Creating Change project through exhibitions, events, and interactive activities focused on sustainable futures.Developed in collaboration with the University of Salzburg and Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, the interdisciplinary initiative combines art, science, and technology to explore topics such as sustainable living, circular economy, and future urban spaces. The project received the Gold Sustainability Award from Austrian federal ministries in 2024, recognizing its innovative approach to education and public engagement.A key feature of the initiative is the mobile CreART Lab, a hands on platform created with input from young people and community partners. It travels to schools, museums, and public events, encouraging participants to experiment with ideas like eco friendly materials and future city design. The findings are now being presented to the public through the interactive exhibition Social Streets Streets and Squares for Everyone, alongside creative events and discussions. Activities include workshops, public happenings, and talks led by artists such as Anna Reinhold, focusing on participation, community spaces, and sustainable urban development.Through this project, the university aims to inspire dialogue and innovation around how people will live, move, and interact in future cities.
