
Poland | The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn has officially announced the start of the 2026 tennis season, with its campus courts reopening on April 30 after the winter break. Located in the university’s academic campus, the facility welcomes both students and the wider community of tennis enthusiasts.To mark the opening, a special promotional offer titled “May Day Opening” will run from April 30 to May 4, featuring reduced prices for court rentals and lighting. From May 5 onward, a new pricing system will come into effect, with detailed information available through official university platforms.The tennis complex offers a total of eight courts, including five doubles courts and three singles courts, with artificial lighting available on selected courts. The facility operates daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, ensuring accessibility throughout the week.New features for the 2026 season include the introduction of the UWM Challenge League for both men and women, the option to use Medicover Sport services, and the availability of membership passes. The courts are fully automated, allowing users to book and pay via the tenis4U mobile application, which also controls entry and lighting systems.The facility remains accessible to everyone, with discounted rates available for students, doctoral candidates, university staff, and members of tennis-related programs. Additionally, certain courts have been adapted to better accommodate players with mobility needs.The reopening highlights the university’s continued investment in sports infrastructure and student life, encouraging physical activity and community engagement on campus.
