
Hungary | Edutus University recently hosted its landmark 30th Anniversary International Week, welcoming nearly 200 participants from 17 countries across Europe and Asia. The multi-day event united professors, lecturers, university staff, and international students to reinforce global academic partnerships and foster meaningful intercultural exchange through a diverse blend of professional workshops and cultural activities.The week officially commenced with a formal welcome reception in Budapest, followed by an official opening ceremony at the Tatabánya campus. To mark the milestone anniversary and symbolize international solidarity, faculty members and students jointly planted a linden tree, while university leaders honored dedicated staff members who have contributed to the program’s long-term success. Throughout the week, students and guest lecturers engaged in interactive academic sessions, collaborative thematic courses, and professional workshops focused on sharing global best educational practices.In addition to rigorous academic training, participants experienced a rich cultural program showcasing Hungarian heritage. The itinerary included a scenic boat excursion to Visegrád for a Renaissance-themed historical tournament and royal feast, alongside guided educational visits to Esterházy Castle and the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building. The international week successfully concluded following final examinations and a formal diploma ceremony, solidifying new professional networks and cross-border friendships.
