
Slovenia | A new four-language monograph, Transformed Education – Visual Research in Learning Urban Education, demonstrates how graphic design and interactive communication are reshaping academic research. The project, part of a cross-border university alliance, explores complex social challenges in urban environments like Paris by merging pedagogy with visual literacy.Interdisciplinary Impact: While partners provided sociological and educational frameworks, students contributed vital skills in graphic technology, data visualization, and interactive mapping.Bridging Communication Gaps: By turning dense social data into clear, engaging visual essays and maps, the team effectively overcame linguistic and academic barriers between researchers in Brussels, Paris, Ljubljana, and Cluj-Napoca.Future Initiatives: The international team is preparing for a follow-up Blended Intensive Program in Romania this November, continuing their work in multicultural research environments.This project highlights how visual design and digital technology have become essential components of modern scientific communication and social analysis.
