
Czech Republic | Charles University has signed new strategic partnership agreements with two leading Taiwanese institutions, the National Taiwan University (NTU) and the National Chengchi University (NCCU). The agreements were formalized during an official visit to Taiwan led by Vice Rector Karel Kouba as part of a Czech Senate delegation.The new partnerships will strengthen academic cooperation through student and staff mobility, joint research initiatives, and opportunities for future international study programs. The agreements also support collaboration in scientific projects and further expand Charles University’s global network.NTU is Taiwan’s highest-ranked university and is recognized internationally for its broad academic offerings. NCCU is renowned for its expertise in humanities and social sciences and already collaborates with several Charles University faculties on research related to semiconductor supply chain resilience.These additions bring the number of Charles University’s strategic partner universities to five, reflecting the institution’s continued commitment to internationalization and global academic cooperation.
