Semmelweis University has inaugurated a cutting edge Anatomy and Innovation Center for Education and Research, significantly enhancing its medical training and research capabilities.The newly opened facility provides state of the art infrastructure for medical students, residents, and researchers, offering hands on training in surgical techniques, imaging diagnostics, and advanced medical procedures. Equipped with more than 20 ultra modern operating tables, the center enables practical learning in real anatomical environments, improving patient safety by allowing students to develop skills before clinical application.The center integrates digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and robotics into both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. These tools are expected to play a crucial role in preparing future physicians for modern healthcare challenges.A key feature of the facility is its advanced imaging unit, including CT and ultrasound systems, which supports minimally invasive and robot assisted post mortem examinations. These innovations are expected to improve diagnostics, particularly in cancer and rare diseases, while advancing research methods.The center also aims to serve as a hub for innovation and collaboration, connecting the university with industry partners and international institutions to develop new medical technologies and procedures.
