Hungarian communities in the United States play an important role in preserving cultural identity and representing Hungarian interests abroad. An upcoming event at Budapest Corvinus University will explore how the Hungarian diaspora operates in cities such as Los Angeles and New York, and how advocacy for Hungarian communities is carried out in Washington, D.C.
The guest speaker, Indri Dániel Janisz from the Hungarian Human Rights Foundation, will share first-hand experiences on diaspora organization, community building, and the role of Hungarian-American organizations in the U.S. cultural and political landscape. The event is open to anyone interested in Hungarian–American relations, international opportunities, and diaspora engagement.
