The University of Primorska held its national Open Days on 13 and 14 February 2026, attracting secondary school students from the region and across Slovenia. Free bus transport was provided from Murska Sobota, Maribor, Celje, Ljubljana, and Postojna to the campuses in Koper, Izola, Portorož, and dislocated units in Vipava and Škofja Loka.
Students explored 33 undergraduate programs and one integrated master’s program, including new offerings such as Anglistika, Inovacije v lesarstvu za trajnostni razvoj, Matematika in računalništvo, and Logopedija in surdopedagogika. Activities included faculty presentations, campus tours, visits to student dorms, 24/7 library demonstrations, and guidance from tutors and student council members to support the transition to university life.
The first application period for the 2026/27 academic year runs from 18 February to 18 March 2026.
