Prague, Czech Republic – The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM) recently featured a conversation with artists and designers Ines Borovac and Rebecca Schedler, whose work explores the boundaries of contemporary design. Borovac, a feminist artist, focuses on challenging systems shaped by norms and traditional values. Schedler, a designer and researcher, works at the intersection of design and science, addressing complex social, cultural, political, and environmental issues.
In the interview, conducted by Agáta Hošnová, the two discussed their studies in the Netherlands, their creative practices, the current limits of design, and broader inspirations shaping their work. The conversation is part of UMPRUM Online’s ongoing effort to highlight innovative voices in art and design.
