The Business School of the University of Eastern Finland has earned accreditation from AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Established in 1916, AACSB is the world’s largest business education network and the oldest global accrediting body for business schools.
Fewer than six percent of the world’s institutions offering business degree programmes hold AACSB business accreditation. The recognition highlights excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning. It also reflects the school’s commitment to innovation, responsible research, and sustainable business education.
Head of the Business School Saara Julkunen said the accreditation strengthens the university’s role in shaping a more inclusive and future-oriented business environment, while opening new opportunities for collaboration.
AACSB accreditation requires schools to undergo a rigorous peer-review process, ensuring they meet high standards in resources, credentials, and commitment to delivering quality, future-focused business education.
