
University leadership met with journalists during a media breakfast to present recent achievements, ongoing projects, and future development plans. The discussion highlighted academic progress, research priorities, and major infrastructure investments shaping the institution’s growth.During the meeting, the rector reflected on the university’s recent 50th anniversary, emphasizing institutional development, collaboration, and new opportunities. Vice-rectors also presented updates on academic initiatives, including micro-credentials, improvements in doctoral studies, teaching excellence programmes, and new student support initiatives.Research priorities such as stable funding, open science, international collaboration, and researcher career development were also discussed. In addition, major infrastructure investments worth hundreds of millions of euros were outlined, including new faculty buildings, research facilities, campus upgrades, and student housing renovations.The meeting concluded with the announcement of a candidacy for the next rector, highlighting a commitment to continue strengthening academic development, research excellence, and institutional cooperation.
