The General Council of NOVA University Lisbon (Portugal) has established the schedule for the election of the university’s next Rector. The election is set to take place on April 24, 2026.The process follows the exclusion of one candidate as determined by the Lisbon Administrative Court, allowing the remaining candidates from the last electoral act to participate. The election will be overseen by the Electoral Commission of NOVA University Lisbon.
