University of Ljubljana in Slovenia has set a new participation record during its seventh annual student running event, bringing together a large community of students, staff, and alumni.The traditional “Run from Faculty to Faculty” event took place on April 2026 in the Rožna Dolina student campus, attracting a record 915 participants. Runners could choose between three distances of 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km, promoting inclusivity and participation across all fitness levels.The event focused on a relaxed and social atmosphere rather than competition, with no official timing. Participants ran in guided groups led by experienced runners, ensuring safety while symbolically connecting different faculties and academies of the university.All 26 faculties of the university were represented, highlighting strong community engagement. The event also featured a large support team, including group leaders, organizers, and volunteers who ensured smooth operations throughout the day.Organizers emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening student life, promoting wellbeing, and building connections within the university community. The next edition of the event is scheduled for April 2027.
