The Brussels School of Governance organized its Business and Entrepreneurship Week in late March, offering students practical insights into careers, innovation, and global business in Belgium.The week, led by Max Nagel, featured three key events: a business networking evening, a guest lecture, and a panel discussion on scaling European deep tech ventures. These sessions brought together alumni, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to connect academic learning with real-world experience.During the networking event, students engaged with alumni to learn how the BA in Global Business and Entrepreneurship program shaped their professional journeys. The exchange provided valuable guidance on career paths and transitioning into the workforce.A highlight of the week was the guest lecture by Tolon Toichubaev, who shared his experience building organizations across sectors, including education, healthcare, and the arts. His talk focused on navigating global markets and managing challenges in uncertain environments.The final panel explored innovation and investment trends in Europe, featuring speakers such as Olivier Rousseaux, Cristina Vicini, and Ludovic Thybergin. Discussions centered on aligning European funding with private capital to scale emerging ventures globally.Students described the experience as both motivating and insightful, helping them better envision their future careers and ambitions in business.
