
Poland | The University of Gdansk has been awarded the Special Prize of the Minister of Digital Affairs in the “Skrzydla IT in Administration” competition for its innovative System of Management Information project.The award was given for the development of the “Management Information System UG – Managerial Dashboards,” a modern digital platform that integrates financial, academic, personnel, and student data into one intelligent system. The solution is built using advanced business intelligence tools and artificial intelligence support.The system significantly improves decision making by providing real time access to key organizational data. It automates reporting processes, reduces manual errors, and increases the efficiency of administrative operations. It also supports strategic planning in teaching, finance, and human resource management.Officials from the University of Gdansk highlighted that the system strengthens data driven management and improves long term institutional efficiency. The project is seen as a model solution for other public institutions undergoing digital transformation.The award ceremony took place in Zakopane, recognizing the University of Gdansk as a leader in public sector IT innovation.
