Finland | The University of Helsinki is increasing its investment in startups emerging from academic research to strengthen innovation and real world impact.Through Helsinki Innovation Services Ltd the university supports researchers in turning ideas into products by providing funding patent support and business development.According to Marko Berg the university plans to invest up to 10 million euros over the next five years. This initiative is expected to increase the number of successful spinout companies and drive economic growth.
