Hungary | The Adventist Theological College recently organized a special spiritual and community day designed to foster fellowship and spiritual growth. Held in conjunction with the Pécel Adventist Congregation, the morning program featured communal singing, group Bible study, and an intimate worship service. The college chaplain delivered a moving sermon centering on the biblical prophet Elijah, exploring themes of emotional exhaustion, burnout, and God’s compassionate response to human fatigue.Following a shared lunch, the events moved to the campus tea corner, where students gathered for informal conversations and personal storytelling. The afternoon concluded with a highly engaging panel discussion hosted by a student leader and four guest pastors. Titled “10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Becoming a Pastor,” the roundtable offered an honest, humorous, and deeply authentic look into the real-world joys and challenges of spiritual ministry.
