Austria | A new ATPL theory student has raised concerns about the best question database to use while preparing for Austro Control exams, highlighting growing confusion among aviation trainees about how to efficiently cover large question banks.
The student noted that their flight school provides its own question database, but they are unsure whether it is enough compared to larger platforms such as Aviation Exams or ATPLQ. With some question banks reportedly containing over 40,000 questions, students say the volume can feel overwhelming, especially without advanced filtering options like “hardest questions” or “recent exam questions.”
The discussion reflects a common challenge among pilot trainees preparing for theoretical ATPL exams under Austro Control, where efficient study strategies and the right question resources can significantly impact performance. Many students are now looking for structured tools that help prioritize high-yield topics instead of simply increasing question volume.
