
Hungary | Eötvös József Főiskola and the Civil Protection Association of Bács-Kiskun County officially signed a new partnership agreement to expand practical training opportunities for university students. The document was signed by Dr. Ibolya Szilágyiné Dr. Szinger, Rector of the College, and Zoltán Mészáros, President of the Association.Every summer, the Civil Protection Association organizes a week-long youth camp that provides children with diverse, experience-based learning. The camp features law enforcement demonstrations, water safety briefings, disaster management preparation, and professional competitions, while emphasizing responsibility and community cooperation. Under the new agreement, elementary school teaching students from the college can complete their mandatory summer internship at this camp. Students will actively participate in running recreational activities, managing daily camp life, and handling pedagogical and community tasks.This partnership links theoretical classroom knowledge with real-world experience, allowing future educators to test their teaching and organizational skills in an active community setting. The Civil Protection Association is providing these professional development slots to the students free of charge, directly supporting the training of the next generation of teachers.
