Czech Republic | Founded in early 2025, the university-wide student club In Stitches brings together crafters from nearly every faculty at Masaryk University. The community organizes bi-weekly meetups, supply swaps (yarn swapy), and informal creative sessions centered around knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and beadwork.According to head organizer (klubkomaster) Anna Wolfová, an MU alumna in literature and intercultural communication, the group provides a relaxed, collaborative environment for about 30 members ranging from total beginners to advanced crafters. The diverse interests of the group lead to highly unique creations—including one chemistry student who spends meetings crocheting complex molecular compound models.The club meets every second Wednesday of the month at the Komenského náměstí clubroom. Interested students can join by messaging the club via email or Instagram.
