Czech Republic | Scientists from CATRIN at Palacký University will take part in the first independent Czech mission to the International Space Station. The PUMR-B project will study how spring barley grows in microgravity, helping researchers better understand plant stress responses and develop more resilient crop varieties. The experiment is scheduled to fly aboard a commercial ISS mission in 2027, with Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda expected to participate.
