Ireland | University College Cork and the Gaelic Athletic Association have announced a partnership to create Atlas of the GAA, a landmark publication exploring the history, cultural impact, and global reach of Gaelic games. Scheduled for release in 2029 to mark the GAA’s 145th anniversary, the project will include contributions from clubs in Ireland and around the world, alongside a major digital mapping initiative documenting more than 2,000 GAA clubs worldwide.
